Bio: Danson Honda is a sophomore at UH Manoa and a Senator of the College of Arts and Sciences for the 2016-2017 school year. During high school, he served as a drum major of the Pearl City High School marching band, and medaled at cross country state championships during both his junior and senior years. He also served as a member of the Hawaiʻi State Board of Education, representing over 180,000 public and charter school students across the state. To this day, he continues statewide efforts on issues such as allowing high school sports to count as a PE credit and granting the student member a vote on the BOE.
Although UH Manoa doesn't have a men's cross country and track team *cough cough*, he continues to remain active in sports by participating in road races and triathlons.
