PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

Aloha!

Welcome to the 96th Senate of the Associated Students of the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa!

I am both honored and excited to have the opportunity to serve as the student body president at arguably the most beautiful and diverse college campus in the world.

As your student representatives you can count on ASUH to extend a wealth of services and events to the student body, voice student concerns to the university administration, and lobby at the Hawai‘i state legislature to continue the improvements being made to our campus!

Having said this, we at ASUH have already planned several events that the student body can look forward to during this upcoming year.

Mark your calendars for the first annual M?noa Homecoming Bash scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008 brought to you by ASUH, Campus Center Board’s Activities Council, the Athletics Department, and the Chancellor’s Office! The event will precede the Wahine homecoming volleyball game leading up to Saturday’s Warrior homecoming football game against Louisiana Tech. The celebration will feature student-athlete appearances, local bands, giveaways, and showcase the excitement of M?noa athletics.

Also, consider running in the ASUH special elections to become more involved in our campus’ undergraduate legislative process and learn valuable leadership skills that will certainly be of value as you pursue your future career!
To find out more information regarding ASUH services or to run in the ASUH elections please contact the ASUH office at 956-4822, asuh@hawaii.edu or stop in our office located in Campus Center 211A right next to the ticket and information window.

Best wishes!
